This site predicting Dawgs as the first team out. I get it but the emphasis on conference record has always frustrated me. We will play 6 of the 7 SEC 1 or 2 seeds (60% of our SEC schedule). Why should we be punished for a below 500 conference record? GT as a high 2 seed, Clemson as a 3 above us. I know it’s a projection so they are predicting we lose both our remaining series and finish 13-17. That would be a painful finish for some of the quality wins we have. Unfortunately going 4-5 again Auburn, Mizzou and A&M would cost us in this scenario. Really hope we can find a way to go 3-3 the next 2 weeks and throw in a win over Tech for good measure!
