Our company uses Fidelity for our benefits program and I just noticed that I can choose my investments manually instead of the default which is Fidelity Freedom Income Fund Class K (FNSHX) 82% and Govt Money Market (SPAXX) 18%. Needless to say these aren’t aggressive markets.
I’m only (👴🏻) 47 and feel I could be a little more aggressive. Any suggestions on what I should invest in?
I like the 500 Index Fund which is moderately aggressive. Should I change strategy and put 50% in this fund and 50% in the class K fund previously mentioned?
Any other suggestions would be much appreciated! I’m no market type guy and it’s all confusing to me. TIA
