I know. It is only three games, and it is a long season, but I have enjoyed these first three weeks more than most seasons. We played poorly against Vandy and still won by 17, a game we could have lost in the past. We played a complete game against USC and routed them, and put the QB issue mercifully to bed, hopefully forever, but at least for a few weeks.
Meanwhile, USC fans are crushed, Spurrier had a classic post-game press conference and they have now changed QBs. UT inexplicably lost a big lead and Butch Jones had an awkward press conference. Auburn has gone from a pre-season darling of the experts with a Heisman hopeful to a dumpster fire with a new QB. The message boards for Auburn, UT and USC have been great.
Meanwhile, Missouri barely got past Connecticut, and UF escaped with a win against Kentucky.
And, either UF or UT is guaranteed to lose this weekend. Either way, one of the coaches will have another classic press conference and a message board for a rival will be in meltdown mode.
