Any Florida Dawgs been following the chaos in Tallahassee the last few weeks between DeSantis and the legislature?

Could have a very interesting impact on 2026.

The Lt Gov leaving her office to take over FIU will create an interesting new wrinkle, giving DeSantis the opportunity to appoint a successor.

Yep, some of the Republicans are tired of DeSantis' crap. Lt. Gov is not an important position and she wasn't there long. More interesting is his wife possibly running for governor. She said no last year, but you never know. Of course Patronis can't be happy.

The legislature is being petty because DeSantis would force them to do the right thing. I get the egos involved, but they were expecting Trump to fight with DeSantis on their behalf, which was pretty stupid.

Nunez moving on is interesting only because of what it may signal for what DeSantis wants - though Casey considering a run changes that.

I think Patronis knew he had no shot at the big boy seat, which is why he ran for Congress.
