NonDawg Football Annoying Terms

I’ve long been annoyed by “tempo”, as in “they are going tempo”. Tempo is a noun there and it needs an adjective - fast? slow?

My new annoyance is “eye candy”, which describes motion, etc to impact the defense. Maybe it bothers me because eye candy has long meant something else to me. 🤷🏻‍♂️ But I heard someone this week, EJ Manual maybe use a better term: Eye Discipline. Much less creepy sounding!
