Forgive my ignorance, I don't give a rat's ass about basketball at any level. However, with basketball, isn't there a single day when people lock themselves in a room at the end of a season and evaluate season results and then layout a bracket? Then a few coaches in the 65 and 66 spots bitch about being left out? No weekly television shows during the final third of the season to show where they are at that moment. Just one selection day.
For Football, we have a committee that starts "evaluating" a bracket halfway through a season and televises updates each week, leading to constant bitching and skewing results because they don't simply do what the basketball people do? Which is to pick a day and look at season resumes as a whole. Wouldn't the basketball way work better here than the current football way?
Imagine if the one and ONLY football selection was today without all the weekly lead-up shows?
