How often do the Dawgs play some form of man coverage versus some form of zone coverage in the defensive backfield? My sense (no expert here) is that we are in some form of man coverage more often than not. If I am correct about that, I'd like to see us playing more zone in the next two ball games to get ready for Bama.

Looking ahead to Bama, my view of Milroe is:
  • One of the best running QB's I have seen in a long time.
  • Dangerous downfield passer.
  • Not particularly accurate in short and mid-range passes.
  • Holds the ball longer than the average QB.
  • Take some unnecessary sacks.
My view is that if we keep Milroe in the pocket and hold him to less than 50 yards on the ground, we win that game. I'd like to have the DB's facing him in zone rather than turning their back to him in man to man.
