We didn't lose to SCe because we didn't run the ball inside the 10yl
We didn't lose to uf because of a missed FG into a severe cross wind
And we didn't lose to the nats because of a squib kick call
I just don't think you lose any game on one play.
IMO we lost to SCe because we couldn't finish the drill on either side of the ball.... had Gurley run the ball in on our last drive did you really have confidence we could stop the gamecocks from returning serve? I didn't. Pin this one on 4th quarter execution.
We lost to uf because we couldn't finish the drill AND our defense couldn't seal the edge... how did the entire team that whacked Mizzou disappear for an entire second half? Pin this one on inexcusable 2nd half execution.
And we lost to the nats because we let our head down the day before when Mizzou clinched the East and played with less fundamentals than any game all season... the loss was excusable, losing due to poor execution was not. Pin this one on poor everything.
