There is so much to take away from the story of Jesus’s crucifixion, burial, and resurrection that one of my favorite parts gets overlooked.
Between the day where the worst thing to ever happen to us occurs and the miracle that saved the world is something called Day 2.
Day 2 is the place where so many of us are stuck. In day 2 we are Hopeless, depressed, world standing, regretful, full of sorrow, etc.
What the characters of the story didn’t realize was that hope can always be found in Jesus. And because of the resurrection, the worst to ever happen to us, is never the last thing. We serve a savior who delivers on his promises. Day 2 does not last forever.
