Wife and I went to G-Day and sat behind the Red team bench. Guys all looked focused and happy for each other; really positive vibe. That said, anyone else notice Cook appear to be upset that he was taken out of the game when Zeus scored on the 3 yard run late in the 1st half? He took off his gloves and helmet, placed them on the equipment table and walked to the sideline off by himself. I believe a GA came over and put his arm around him to tell him to shake it off...he looked upset to me. I watched the replay last night and couldn't see anything on the field to warrant his reaction. He obviously played a lot more, but he looked really PO'd about something. Anyone know what might have been the issue? I'm thinking he might have tweaked something and coach said your done for the day...but he played a lot more and played well.

On a great note, wife and I stayed inside the stadium after the game and watched the team come out of the West End to go through East to catch the bus. #4 was walking alone, apparently in his own thoughts, and I said great game #4, stay healthy...and I got the head nob. Every other player that came through greeted us with a smile and the vibe from everyone else was so positive and they all appeared to be having a great time with each other. It was awesome to see so many guys in a click smiling and laughing with each other. Carson walked by alone and I said great game, keep working hard and he smiled a wide smile and replied, "thank you, sir". I said good game to Zeus and he walked over to us without asking and fist bumped me...let me take a few selfies and then he interacted with a man and his little boy for 5 minutes...awesome interaction!

Best for last. Mims, Broderick, some other OL's were walking West to East to catch the bus when Kirby and JTD went flying by on a golf cart; JT riding shotgun. I think it was Mims yelled, "ass kisser" and JT looked back over his shoulder with the biggest grin and said something to the guys and they all cracked up laughing. It was good to see our most visible player, IMO, our most important player heading into 2021, appear to have a great bond with his OL. They all laughed at looked at each other and cracked up at whatever he said; it was just a good scene to watch. I spoke with JB#7 and told him to get better and stay healthy and humble and he said, "yes sir, I'm working hard every day on everything". He said yes sir, no sir...while looking me straight in the eyes and smiling. Seems like a good kid.

Not a big deal, but I'm a 35 year season ticket holder and live and die with the Dawgs. The feel and scene from Saturday's post-game interaction was the most upbeat, positive scenario I've ever been witnessed. Whatever the skull session process CKS refers to this spring, it appears to be working. Go Dawgs!!
