Does not sound good to hear him say he's 50/50 to play as of yesterday, I can't imagine he won't be out there today, but think about less than a week ago he was hobbling around without much success except for 3 treys. I classified him as 50% and gutting it out vs SC, and probably only 25% Saturday. The fact that he said he could have played didn't mean much, it just meant he wasn't having to be confined to crutches. Ankles are tough to get over in a week. He could make a wrong move going down the steps and be back to square one. Maybe Fox was playing "fox" with the media as some have suggested, but I think the more logical story is that KG really is in rough shape.
I can't see how we stay very competitive today without him, especially considering how we looked vs Arkansas and seeing how they looked last night. Obviously hope I'm wrong but seems to me that a nagging injury to a key player would be a fitting end to this season. What could have been if not for terrible luck.
That said, Go Dawgs!!!
