I agree on Jackson and I also can't wait until this time next year when recruits we "missed" on coming crawling back with inbound calls to the staff.
I’m from and live in Memphis so naturally I go to a lot of tigers games.. he a beast I mean it!
It also has to help that he has two years of eligibility because it’ll be easier for our staff to convince him about overall team success with a two-year window rather than just one.
Have a long way to go filling out the roster, but landing Jackson quickly would do a lot to assuage my concerns of how we finished HS recruiting and make me a lot more optimistic of potential further success in the portal.
I don’t think Miami is worried about us landing a Memphis DT for depth. Hope we get him.

CJ is better than any DT we had on the roster last season imo. Not even close.

Sadly that doesn’t surprise me. At this point it’s clear they will just target whoever UF wants just because of Ruiz’s personal vendetta.
Unfortunately, pretty predictable.
1. Noise that UF wants someone emerges
2. Visit scheduled
3. People act like he’s committed
4. Visits UF and visit goes great
5. Miami swoops in and gets a later visit
6. Kid ends up at Miami

Seriously? If that’s the case there is zero chance anyone should be getting excited about him coming to UF. I’m sure he’s indicated something to staff and insiders but that’s happened many many times in the past. In fact last years DT did the same thing.
If they don’t get him to shut it down on the visit and he makes that Miami trip, it’s over.

It’s partially on the staff. If they were banking on this guy signing with us before entering the portal and being a starter for us while passing on all other DL guys, that’s on them if they don’t land him and have no good backup options available.

I really don't need to confirm or justify anything to you. I've spent the better part of the last week working NIL deals to keep recruits to sign, current players to not hit the portal, etc...lots of my $$$...and I read this butcher job on this board its really disappointing
All I can afford is $50 I give the collective each month for now. If you guys need help with any kind of administrative work or just need volunteers let me know.
