Special Education Gator: Coaching staff learned absolutely nothing from the Utah game.

I've been the biggest Billy supporter for his tenure so far.
Today made it really difficult to want to put that Billy hat back on. Just some inexcusable week 1 issues that are still plaguing this team.
Unacceptable performance. Absolutely unacceptable. What an absolute garbage decade of Florida football, despite the couple Trask/Pitts seasons. This is just getting demoralizing to continually witness such bad football.
Do we come back from this? I don't know. Today was baaaad. Like, fundamentals bad. I'm not giving up hope but... my hope meter can only go so low before I give it up.
It's on like a 2 right now. We lose next week and it hits 0.
Patience, Grasshopper Gator: I guess it’s a wait and see approach with Napier. On one hand, Mike Norvell looked like a bust in his first couple of seasons but looks like the right hire for FSU now. Napier could turn out to be the right hire, or he could be another wrong hire in a decade and a half of wrong hires. I guess time will tell.
What do you have to do to get an F around here? Gator: Grade the Gators: D-
Adjustment virgins Gator: The next time these guys make 2nd half adjustments will be the first time.
Hasn't watched a Miss. State game Gator: Early line on the vandy game? The loser will be the worst team in the sec.

I honestly don’t care about the loss. I figured this team would suck again this year. A couple improvement here or there.
However, that was fugly. He should be embarrassed by that showing.
"Stoicism be damned" Gator: We can all talk till we turn blue in the face about woeful play calling or the defense today, but what has concerned me from the very beginning is how this team comes out for games. I just don't ever see the kind of intensity in the Gators....like I saw with Kentucky today.....I saw a video from the Tennessee game where a former player pegged it on the sideline in the 1st half.....He even risked getting thrown off the sideline and out of the locker room, trying to get the gators emotionally up. He indicated the staff informed him they were concerned players would forget their assignments if they got too emotionally charged.....I found it all concerning if that's the mindset with this staff?
"Who's the SEC East doormat now?" Gator: Billy is 0-3 against Kentucky and Vandy.
"Internet reports FSU coach donated to Wuhan lab" Gator: If it wasn't for COVID, Norvell might not have made it and been fired.
"Lawnmower's got gas in it, still won't crank" Gator: Billy has that bewildered look on his face. I honestly think he’s a bit lost right now, doesn’t know really what to do. The entire team needs so much fixing, everywhere, but he’s got to be the chief play caller. It’s way too much, imho. He’s really put himself in a bad spot now.
"We needed Billy the Kid, not Billy Napier" Gator:
Everyone including Charlotte knew/knows everything we are going to do all the time on offense. It’s almost literally an open book.
Coach Armstrong is young, he got beat today, it will happen. That’s where you need to be able to get into a shootout.
Sarcasm Gator: Billy checks all the boxes in being a great college football coach, except the coaching part. He gets that straightened out it’s Natty time baby!
"Public vs. Private, we'll show Vandy who is boss. That's the game that matters" Gator: Number 1 public university babyyyyy!!!!!!
Slow moving Gator: Kinda starting to question everything. Still hoping we can turn it all into positives, but just not seeing anything to give me some confidence that it will happen.

It's not looking great, but we still have to give Billy a lot more time to prove himself.

"This ain't basketball" Gator: Kentucky. Kentucky has a 3 game winning streak again UF. Kentucky. And these games haven't exactly been close.

I was going to say this in the game thread. This game looked exactly like the Utah game except for SEC talent. We got worked.
We looked so sad in this one that Stoops called off the dogs at the end. That should be embarrassing to our staff.
"These aren't them days" Gator: Gator fans feel desperate. You have Georgia and FSU in the top-10. Meanwhile we get blown out by a Kentucky team that hasn't won a conference title in 50 years and has never really threatened to even win the division.
