The reason UGA is acknowledged as a top five opportunity is nobody is nipping at their heels...nobody. I realize your post is in jest and it is funny. Just saying one more time. A school with every advantage, crazy football mad state, HS football deluxe, no competition, on board admin, $$$$, facilities and in the SEC east with all the cache of S.E.C. but in the east. Get outta here! I think Kirby gets it done, he knows what to do and will work and energize the program. Far better than it was being done. And so far the coaches he has brought on board are professionals at the trade. Kept Sherrer, Rocker, brought in his personal assistant from Bama and Chaney/Pittman are highly respected around college football. Guys who can take what they have and maximize. And Pittman brings in mules for his OL's. Hell of an ol deal which is big, hand picks and lands the guys he wants and then turns them into animals that dominate more and more as the year goes on. Nobody much wanted any part of his Hogs past mid year in the west. They would line up and knock you down.
I know a lot of good GSU grads, I consider their program to be Our Lil-Bro program.
I question whether They would have been better served staying in DII, or whatever it's called now. I guess the move was to share in the big boy spoils.
