The SEC is the best it's been in awhile, and we should have a favorable RPI and opportunities for top 50 wins once we get it in to conference play. It's not unreasonable to think the SEC could get 6 or 7 teams in this year.

St. Marys, Marquette and Winthrop are all quality victories - all three teams were in the tournament last year. Our next three games - UMass, Georgia Tech & Temple - are all winnable and would really cement a great start to the season.

In years past, we've struggled in non-conference and gelled as the year went on, but it was too little too late. We still have much to improve on - turnovers, team defense - but at least we are winning these games.
