NonDawg Glenn Frey has passed away

It's been a tough week for musicians. He was a great artist. I was always more of a Henley man, but loved the Eagles. Glad I got the chance to see them live last year.

Saw them in Charleston South Carolina 2004 with Joe Walsh filling in. Unbelievably talented guys what a great show .....on over three hours. They played everything that night. This is a little piece of Americana ending with his passing
phenomenally talented musicians
At that concert that night they were people 8 to 80 on our row dance and sing and having fun . I've been listening to them literally all my life.

VERY talented musician, performer, and not a bad actor. The Eagles were a great band.

Saw the Eagles in 94 and again last year in Greenville. My favorite band and both concerts were Great. RIP Glenn Fry.

I was at that show in Charleston too. Great show.

My favorite band of all time, they wrote some great songs and had incredible harmony. Sad news.

I saw the Eagles at the Omni in 1976. Again a few years ago at Piedmont park in Atlanta. Glenn Frey will be missed. But his music will live on.

The Eagles were neither a great band nor was Glenn Fry a great musician. They were hacks and Lebowski nailed it.
Just stupid thing to say. Glen Frey sang background on Bob Segar's Ramblin Gambling man as teenager, lived and wrote songs with Jackson Browne, toured as part of Linda Rondstadt's band BEFORE he even formed the Eagles and sold 150 million albums. What have you done?

Even if you didn't like his/their music you are foolish to make this statement. There are plenty of bands/musicians that I don't like but realize they are talented and worthy of respect

Yeah, they were only likely the best vocal rock group ever. No big deal. Every one of those cats were talented and they could sing amazing harmonies. You not like them because they aren't a jam band like WSP?

Don't ask the tough questions - Fishwater don't got no answers...

No need to respond to this ass clown. There's one in every crowd.

The Eagles died with "The Long Run." They were a very enjoyable oldies band after that. I never got tired of those harmonies.

Went to my first Eagles show in '74.

RIP
If you have not already seen it, catch the 3 hour special that comes on periodically about the Eagles. Make sure you have the time or you might piss the wife and everybody else off watching every minute of it. One of my all time favorite band's,( Allman Brothers good)!!!

Bite Dat Ass and TAKE IT EASY GLENN!!!

I first saw the Eagles as the opening act for Yes...yes, that YES, at the ATL Municipal Auditorium in 1972. They were opening for a lot of bands in 72 and I think they opened for another act at The Sports Arena that year. I really liked their early sound with Bernie Leadon on the banjo. Still have to acknowledge their rise to fame and Glenn Frey was a major part of that. I have alll their stuff on wax including Glenn's first 3 solo albums. RIP Glenn.

Saw them in concert 94 when they reformed. Had Joe Walsh and the whole crew there it was incredible.

Two greatest songwriting duos in the history of music Glenn Frey and Don Henley and John Lennon and Paul McCartney

Might want to add Jagger-Richards to that!
