I gave up using the ignore function because the ignored still showed up when someone else replied to the ignored. Now the ignore function removes the ignore's posts from other posters replies, and also removes all threads started by those ignored.
Using it, the board has now become for me, what it was a couple of years ago. I still read a lot of posts by others I disagree with, but the level of maturity in the disagreements is something I can accept, and actually enjoy for the reasonable banter, and lack of insults, that ensue. I have changed my mind on canceling my subscription and moving on. Thanks Rivals for the programming tweak.
