Government

One of the fundamental problems with the American government is our constitution was never designed to rule 300+ million people from multiple tribes, much less 300+ million and a global empire.

I don’t know what the solution is but you can’t shrink the size of the federal government without giving up the empire, which is something. Republicans are reluctant to do.

Damn right it does, which was my point. Too many arguments over my team vs the other guys team. The only teams are us vs the USG. Only about 1% seem to understand this.
I am a conservative and have voted republican just because they are closer to my values, not because I trust them. I noticed a trend in the last year that radical right wingers and radical progressives are slowly being voted out of office. I hope one of these days the Democratic and Republican parties can once again work together for what is best for the American people.

The one thing I think we can all agree on, we can’t keep going down the same path and expect good results for the future.
I at least give Trump credit for realizing this and trying to do something. The question is whether he’ll get support from his own party and if future administrations will continue the effort. It took several decades to get us to this point and it will take several administrations making government reduction a priority to solve the problem.

America First is the only policy that will work at this time. Stop the globalists policies, we can’t support the world.
