I understand your frustration more than anybody, but he is just reporting the info as he gets it or sees it, doesn't mean you have to like it or agree with it, heck we disagree sometimes but at the end of the day he is trying to get everyone the best possible info out there, and its far from an exact science.

Just my two bits on recruiting and the class we have coming in (FWIW, and that's not much), this years class is indicative of the state of our program. We have managed just well enough the past few years to wallow around .500 or just above. Hammond's has the potential to be very good at the next level, but next year I cant see him playing ahead of Diatta, Wilridge or Parker if he comes back, keep in mind, he will be a freshman at UGA. I think Claxton can possibly help out a year or two down the road, he needs to get bigger and stronger, but I wouldn't look for any immediate impact next year. Hightower could be really good, he played for J.Weavers Heatchek program growing up and for Coach Ty at Collins Hill HS, so he has been around some pretty good coaches in both HS and AAU circles, but once again I don't see him playing ahead of Turtle, Crump and Harris next year. After speaking with certain people over the past few days I have resigned to the fact that we are what we are, and things are just not going to change for their better anytime soon, it just isn't. Everyone is hollering for a change at HC (me too) but even if that were to happen, we are NOT going to bring in a guy to take it to the next level unless we got EXTREMELY lucky. 145-118 in 8 years at .551 winning percentage, 70-68 in SEC play after 8 years at a .507 clip will get you Tenured as head basketball coach at UGA.

Enough of talking about ugly basketball, I have seen some INCFREDIBLE games ther past two days!! Notre Dame- Princeton was really good, USA-SMU was surprising, but how bout Michigan and OSU? You talk about two teams filling it up. Those guys can shoot! Watching these game also really shows you just how far off we are from competing at that level. I still love Duke and UCLA in the finals....
