THAT was the type of game I wanted early...like against Clemson. We play like that against Clemson, Oakland, and Marquette, we win. AND we play KS close with a chance to win. I am NOT upset that we lost (upset that the refs were so crazy in this one...was watching in a Duke bar somewhere just off 85 in NC and the fans there were trying to say that the ACC refs were worse than ours, then watched our game and conceded the fact that ours are worse...), but that was HUSTLE, many (not all) SMART plays and good shooting when needed (not all game, but some really good shots when we needed them).
That make s me feel better about playing them at home (of course, we gotta see how the other games play out before then), but I think we can win our next ones before KY. This was NOT a MUST WIN, just a really nice if we did win, game. I am not ready to proclaim us anything, yet, but I am not that unhappy, like I have been early this season. As of now, we are still not a bubble team, so we will still have to win against every team that we can win against, and hope to win against UF, KY, SC somewhere down the line, but even then, we may be a dreaded 10 seed again. (sigh)
