After a cool day yesterday, the sun as back out today and it was scorching.
The first bit of news occurred before I even walked in the building. As I was waiting to be let in, I saw this familiar looking recruit walk up with his coach. Turns out it was Elijah Holyfield, coming back for another visit. I kind of did a double-take because I'd never seen him in person, but yep, it was him.
Elijah was decked out in red and black and seemed to he having a good time on the field.
Once on the field, spent some more time watching the defensive line. This is quickly becoming my favorite group. Really enjoy watching Trenton develop into for what I think is a helluva player before all is said and done.
One player who wasn't there was James DeLoach. I didn't see James yesterday, either, but today we did and he was off to the side in a green jersey working with trainers. His left hand was in some kind of wrap, but otherwise seemed none the worse for wear. Will check with Coach Richt after practice.
Did not see Isaiah McKenzie, either.
Otherwise, spent a little extra time watching the both the defensive backs offensive line.
Everything is pretty status quo there..The first group still the same and that's not going the change.
The second group consisted of Aulden Bynum LT, Dyshon Sims LG, Hunter Long C, Lamont Gaillard RG and Kendall Baker RT...The third unit consisted of Sage Hardin RT, Sam Madden RG, John Courson (I believe) C, Thomas Swilley LG and Pat Allen LT.
As for the defensive backs I saw Aaron Davis and Malkom Parrish drilling as ones at CB, with Quincy Mauger and Dominick Sanders at safety....Second unit was Devin Bowman-Tramel Terry (CB) and Johnathan Abram-Reggie Wilkerson (S).....Rico McGraw and Shattle Fenteng were with the third group at CB....I wasn't able to see the third group at safeties, my apologies.
More to come.
