Just to be clear I am not for a mid season change. I think that is unfair to the players. I played college baseball at Ga Southern so that is why I feel that way. With that being said check out this guy. I posted this on the Dawgvent in reply to a thread earlier....

here is a guy that is very interesting to me. I have a friend that knows him well. After his success and what I have read and heard about him......this would be a realistic option and also potentially a great hire.

He has said the best...or at least one of the best.... jobs in college baseball should be UGA with the talent in the state and Hope grant assistance.
I understand this has been stated numerous times already and Hope has changed some as well.

Still this is a very interesting guy to me. True blue baseball guy. He was a catcher and very very average talent. He "turned himself" into a decent baseball player. He has the makeup to be an incredible coach.

He doesn't always go after the highest ranked elite players. He looks for a certain makeup. Specifically.....team first, someone with the guts to battle and compete, etc
