It is obvious this has been in the works for a while. CMR's entire demeanor changed during the season. A name that no one has thrown out who is a big time on the field leader is the Utah coach. Don't know about recruiting but he is a tough guy who would be an immediate upgrade coaching wise. McGarity likely already has his guy.

The UGA Atheletic departement is 100 million dollar operation and this is McGarity's signature hire to establish his legacy. There's no way in hell he is going cheap. He may botch the hire but he's pulling all the stops. Plus don't you think some of the big money donors had some pull in this? I think about 80% chance we bring on Smart. They will probably throw 3 million at him. If we bring Mullen they will probably have to go more than 4 million.
