I really love the new feature called the Not in the Game Notes stats! While reading it, one vital stat that "must've been" just jumped out at me.
Alabama's all-time great RB - "Forrest, Forrest Gump" was 3-0 against Georgia in his stellar career for The Tide. After all, from our own Not in the Game Notes notes -
Johnny Griffith: 0-3 (all three games were against Bear Bryant and Alabama)
Since Forrest, Forrest Gump starred for the Tide and The Bear during that same time he undoubtedly was 3-0 against The Dawgs. After all, he was even recognized as an All-American by President John F. Kennedy.
Am I ready to play Ala-DAMN-bama? You bet I am! But we have other urgent business to attend to first because if we aren't 4-0 going into that game, it doesn't mean nearly as much.
