He's no longer in the program. I'm not 100% sure why, but I think that both he and UGA determined that it wasn't a great fit after all. He's still enrolled at UGA. He had an excellent football career in high school and I hear that he may attempt to play football at the college level (here or elsewhere). I understand that he went through all of the summer work, but left the program shortly before or shortly after fall practice started.
13 months ago, I just assumed that he was the SS of the future. I was a little bit curious of how he (and the other SS's that we signed) fit into the plans when we brought in Nick King in the late period. JC guys are typically not signed from the other side of the country just to provide depth.
Another signee from that initial class, Logan Mosley, is no longer with the program, either.
