“My accomplishments as Secretary of State?

Well, I'm glad you asked! My proudest accomplishment in which I take the most pride, mostly because of the opposition it faced early on, you know… the remnants of prior situations and mindsets that were too narrowly focused in a manner whereby they may have overlooked the bigger picture and we didn’t do that and I’m proud of that. Very proud. I would say that’s a major accomplishment.” You can't make this stuff up.

Bill was a much better liar.

That needs to be on a thousand bill boards across the country. Integrity, if not dead, is dying.

How many words does it take to say "Not a damn thing for the betterment of this nation". That lying witch should be swinging from a rope after Benghazi and the way she and barry left our fellow Americans to die.

That is obfuscation at a professional level. She is an excellent politician. Not a chance I would vote for her.

You know she's going to win don't you?

Just the fact that she is well-known by everyone due to her already being First Lady and Sec of State and the fact that she can be the first woman President all but guarantees her the Office.

Seriously doubt Ohio, Fla or any other major swing state goes back to Red. This country has changed and Repubs will not win the Presidency unless they ban together and run more moderate candidates that don't alienate everyone who isn't christian and white. Need to especially get more of the Hispanic vote or Repubs won't win any national elections any time soon.

Trump is an idiot for those comments he made about illegals.

I wish he would go away. He just doesn't think before he talks and that is not the characteristic of a winner. He can get away with saying whatever he wants when he owns the company. He doesn't own the country.

I think there is a method to his madness, but even if he wins the Repub nomination (which would still take a minor miracle, IMHO), he would get slaughtered by Hilary. You are talking about roughly 38% of the vote already being in her back pocket (Hispanics and Blacks) before the first debate.

Trump is guessing that the voters are swayed by publicity and headlines, and he is right. He is leading the Repub polls for a reason. One is because there are so many other candidates that the field is diluted and secondly, because his name stands out so much above the others, who are largely unknown to the public.

I think everyone is being played by both sides. We were introduced to Palin for the 2008 election and she became the "common sense" voice. People said she should be president but what happened in 2012? When the chips were down no one was willing to seriously push her towards the presidency and I don't think she wanted it in the first place as she and her family are doing just fine financially The only thing hurting the Palins are the Palins.

Jump to now and Trump is filling the same role. He's saying things that the common man would say about our societal problems. Does Trump really want to be POTUS or is he just keeping his name out there like he's done before for his next business venture? We'll see...

He may very well be doing that and if so it's despicable. He is getting his publicity by saying things that will damage his party by association. This country has had two 8-year presidents in a row who were willing to do significant damage to our nation's financial position to meet other political needs of theirs. Hispanic immigrants actually share a lot of values with a traditional republican platform, but if you tell them you want to build a wall to keep all of those criminals out, they are going to vote Democrat. And if the Dems get that kind of a mandate, they will use it for their economic agenda which is to essentially buy votes to the detriment of this country. At that point, we might as well live in Greece.

The one concept that most voters don't get is that political affiliation doesn't matter to the financial elite. We live in a global economy and wealth reaches far beyond political affiliation in the US. People can argue all day long about how Democrats and Republicans help or hurt individuals and corporations but smart people with wealth can survive just fine no matter who is running the show. Trump seems to be doing quite well for himself during the Obama terms, just saying.

There have been problems and threats of new problems throughout history and there will continue to be turmoil. The elite find a way to weather storms and survive as long as they don't self-destruct. The name of the game is to create a relative global stability and predictability that allows money to move into desired streams, not for citizens of the world to live in any degree of comfort or peace. One can profit from conflict just as much as peace. Create problems to sell solutions.

Yeah, we are being played.

Funny part about all this is if Hilary goes against Trump, it would throw party lines all over the place. Both would appeal to people who normally vote for the other side and both will likely say and do things to turn their bases off.

The Dems have gotten so arrogant that they think Obama isn't far enough left. They are becoming split, just going to take a more moderate Repub to take advantage of it.

Due to Trump's celebrity and overall lack of concern over social issues (like gay marriage and abortion), he may have a chance to win over some centrists and moderate Dems. Which makes it even more ridiculous about his comments on illegals.

I honestly think that was either a huge mistake by him or he is an undercover Democrat trying to ensure Hillary wins the Presidency.

People for get that the Pres is not a dictator, he has limited power. In case you didn't notice, Obama actually sided with the Repubs on an economic issue that the Dems voted down. I have a hunch this was part of a deal for the Repubs to let some of his stuff pass.

Obama has been more concerned with social issues like race and gay marriage to appeal to more people in this nation. However, race relations are at a low not seen since the 70s and gay marriage was forcibly pushed through by the Supreme Court, not him.

Allowing illegals to become citizens is another social issue he has devoted his time to. It is almost like he is trying to be a popular guy rather than running the country the right way. Last time I noticed, ISIS and Putin were out of control. Noting has been done to stop it.

Pubs have only been running moderate presidential candidates with no success.
