One thing that has loomed has been the globalization of economies, currencies, etc., which would be done through banks. This speaks of that on a regional level, that being in Europe. This is just Germany, but it will eventually reach much farther.

Again, who knows what is the truth anymore. Stuff gets spewed out in the ... ahem... "news" ... every day and some of it isn't the least bit the truth.
