A couple of things before I ask a question I can't get out of my head.
While Richt hasn't come out and said it, it sure does feel this is simply a 2-man race, doesn't it? (Ramsey & Lambert) I'm going to look on the bright side and say we have the best 3rd string QB in the SEC.
Seriously, though, I really could see Bauta giving us what Mason gave us last year except with more of a rushing threat. He probably wouldn't be as accurate but as long as he doesn't turn the ball over, I think we'd get similar results.
Here's what I can't get out of my head: after watching several games of Lambert's from last year, he sure does have terrible habits and not just some of the time. I say that while also personally thinking he'll get this job for the long haul but there are so many things he needs to "un-learn" that it gives me pause.
Anyone else a bit nervous about his poor fundamentals on tape? (and I'm sure a major part of it is being under duress all the time but that doesn't erase the problem)
