Georgia State takes over the current Braves Stadium (as rumored) and converts it into a state of the art sports complex, --- then jumps up to the
Big 12. Big jump, but the Big 12 needs teams, and wouldn't they love to have a presence in Atlanta. A chance to move to the Big 12 would help bring in the monies to finance the upgrades and the jump into the big time.
This would cause more competition for us, but could be crushing to Tech.
