The other day I was out and about talking to a friend and Malcolm Brogdon walked up, he was meeting my friend as they were about to go somewhere. My friend said "hey this is Malcolm Brogdon, he just got drafted into the NBA". I don't follow CBB outside of UGA super closely but the name was very familiar and I said "Oh yeah...Virginia right?" and MB said yep. I said "Man we wanted you bad at UGA!", just making idle chitchat really. And he said "Not bad enough" and was pretty straightforward, as in like he wasn't laughing and joking. And then they left, that was the end of it.
Granted, this was an extremely limited conversation and I'm sure I'm reading too much into it, but it definitely seemed like he had no love lost for us. Was there something bad about his recruitment that soured him?
