Look, it's been a long arduous rebuild. I think daylight is within site. This year's team should challenge hard for an NCAA birth. We will need to nail down a solid 2017 class to ensure multi-year success. We need 4 players: 2 bigs, a PG, and a scoring wing.
I like that Diatta, KPG, Wilridge, and Parker (and Harris though prob not so much this season) are all options at the 3....Somehow, that feels like something we can work with. Gonna need Turtle to show he can handle a bolus in minutes and hope Crump is too good not to play, but I don't worry about our front line or PG. JJ and Yante are gonna make things happen on O. Crump or Turtle or even our bigs taking on a scoring role would not be surprising. And, Diatta averaging 12 ppg wouldn't suck.
This team is ready, I think. As long as they can gel quickly, we'll be proud of what we see.
