Been hearing people suggesting that Ben Simmons struggling at LSU this season is going to make it tougher on schools that aren't traditional powers like Georgia to sign elite 5-star players. Not because it is hurting his draft stock (he'll still be a top 2 pick at worst unless something crazy happens), but he's getting a lot of scrutiny for LSU not winning. If he was at a traditional power and winning, even if he wasn't putting up the same numbers, it would be a lot smoother ride for him.
