When you hit the reply button to the person you are responding to the window will pop open just like it does now and you will respond under that and everyone will be able to see who is talking to who.

No. As I've explained it a different type of topic board, when you hit reply to the person you are responding to it will automatically pop their post above where you will write your response. Everyone will be able to see who is responding to who.

I think most understand that you can see who is replying to who....

It is a matter of following the entire conversation in topic view. Will be a headache to figure out, context will be lost, I hope I am wrong. I would like to see everything work out, it has been fun here. Oh well, I guess the "proof will be in the pudding".

I honestly don't think it will. I've been on the new boards and seen how it works, and I honestly don't see the problem there, especially with the things you will now be able to do in topic view that you have been unable to do before....To me when I look at thread view, especially in threads with a lot of responses, it's impossible for me to physically eyeball each one to keep up, not to mention the really long ones take up so much room on the board it can get hard to find anything else.
