I'm torn... if we beat UK, we most likely still miss the NCAAT, but probably keep CMF. I wish we could win out and still get a new coach. I am a firm believer that CMF raised our floor, but has us squashed up against our ceiling with him.

With that said, we are going to need some luck. UK obviously has us out talented at every position except Yante. But in the last game, we got a huge night out of DO. Under Cal, UK is surprisingly vulnerable in the paint. We must have Yante, DO and Edwards play to their max each has all season. 30 from Yante, 18 from DO and 12 from ME and we may win.

The issue is can we slow down their guards and wings? In the last game, Fox was out. Without him, JJ had room to move and really control the flow on offense, but once KY settled in, they quickly found favorable matchups vs JJ, Harris and JP and Monk really went off in the second half b/c no one could slow him down. With both Fox and Monk, we are outsized as we try to match up on D, and they may score 60 between them. At the same time, their length will disrupt JJ, so can Harris, JP, Crump, Diatta, KPG, Wiridge...whomever CMF brings in Sat be the difference?

It's at home, and sold out. But tons of UK fans as usual will be screaming and will probably be louder than our crowd. For whatever reason, CMF plays UK close most of the time. I don't know why other than our guys get up and UK really doesn't play good D. A lot of teams score at will against them, but few can slow them down.

Our D has been pretty bad this season, compared to most CMF teams. I expect this game to be in the high 70s if not low 80s. Anyone want to add?
