Not to diminish what we did at all, but Clemson doesn't look like a very good team this year. I wonder if they're starting to regret the Monte Lee hire a bit. I understand that David Perno was in some pretty serious consideration for that job. You all know how I feel about Perno, but I don't think it's much of a stretch to say he'd have done better than Lee has so far.
I'm interested to hear what the rotation is for this weekend. South Carolina is playing some good baseball now... looking at their offensive numbers, it's hard to believe they've been held to 2 or fewer runs 5 times in 23 games. This Wes Clarke dude will be one the best power bats we see this year. South Carolina hasn't beaten us on a weekend since 2013. They know that too, but their series losing streak against us is nothing new or unknown.
I think it's fair to say that we've had our two best wins of the season so far the last two games. We really ought to take some legitimate confidence into this weekend
