You're constantly and needlessly crapping on our new coach for no other reason than you are angry that Mark Richt was fired. You automatically assume Smart is going to fail, not because of his resume or abilities, but again because he's not Richt. That or you are terrified of change and were happy being mediocre. Richt has failed for seven years against anyone worth a damn, and often struggled to beat bad teams.

You come across as a whiner, with no substance. I know that's not you. But no one knows what will happen. Heck, tell me what CMR would have done next year........... You can't.

Based on the last two years, it would have been scary, not in a good way.

We have just hired the consensus best recruiter in the country a Broyles award winner and someone who is considered one of the best assistants in the country by his peers.

So where does the gloom come from? Butt hurt isn't a valid reason.

Well I can tell you what think would happen next year with Richt . Brace yourself , I think if changes were not made to offensive coordinator it would be a struggle. That putting it mildly.

We may would have lost our defense coordinator over it . Because relying on the defense to bail you out grows undue pressure on you ; when nothing changing on offense. Too me auburn is a good example of relying on defense to bail the offense out every time .

I realize that why you have a defense but when your 36% on the season on third downs ,that puts pressure on the D .

As good as he maybe , I think it's unfair to put the house of cards on a incoming freshman QB .david green was bout the only one I seen that handle the pressure.

I think we would be hard pressed to see nine wins if no changes were made and if there was a change I think it would have been tough to find anyone worth anything , knowing everyone job could be on the line. Look at what happen to will at Florida when that happen .

I know what you going to say , well if you believe this too be the case why keep Richt and I ask that myself and I believe that a nine win season earns you the right to fix what broken or at least try . If you wanna roll the dice and make no changes then you almost for sure seeing the door .

Given how bad we were on third downs , I believe it's short of a damn miracle we won nine games .

Also let me add , with the freshman QB and Chubb , I think it would be unfair to Chubb to ask him to help the QB and remove the pressure off him .
