but the "fire Fox" yelling needs to stop, we are just 8 games into the season, lets let this thing play out before we jump ship. We knew what we had in JJ and Yante and they have lived up to their part, but we need that 3rd guy to step up big time. Considering JP has played the 3rd most minutes and has taken the 3rd most shots that our Staff was wanting or hoping for him to be that guy, but he isn't. He is shooting 29% from the Field, 11% from beyond the arc. To continue to give him the green light after 4 years of never showing any kind of ability to shoot the ball well is flat out lunacy. Turtle has been shooting the ball fairly well, he needs to be getting up more shots, I really think he could evolve into that 3rd guy. I am not at practice and I have no clue as to what goes on but when two top 100 national players cant get on the floor in significant minutes at GEORGIA, some even get DNPs, is just absolutely mind boggling. IF, and that's a BIG "if" we could find that 3rd guy and we tighten up our D, stretching our Zone out and defending the perimeter better we could possibly position ourselves into some success this season. We need some "Quality wins" on our resume. We have had 3 chances this year, Clemson, Kansas and Marquette and we struck out all three times. We have three more coming up in Oakland, GT and Auburn this month, we need all 3 of those. This season should be a make or break season fro Coach Fox, the last thing I want to hear next season is" We are having to learn how to play without JJ".
I get the frustration from everyone...
