I have said for the last 5 years our basketball goals should be a final 4 and a championship. If Florida can do it, why not us? It was obvious 5 years ago Fox was not that coach. Turning a basketball program around will happen overnight when it happens. It only takes 1 recruiting class to do that.
I have been called an idiot, a Gator fan and many other things in here. Maybe the prior is true, but I am no Gator fan. I do envy them.
Now, we see USC taking it to Baylor and MAYBE on their way to the elite 8.

So, is USC a basketball school? I have been told you have to be a basketball school to win in hoops? No, you don't. You just need the right coach. Will they take a step back next year? Sure... but they now have done more in basketball this year than we have done in the last 20 combined.
We are punks. UGA is ran by punks from the top down. Our President SUCKS. Our AD SUCKS and so does our coach! If ADGM hadn't been forced to make a move, we would still be stuck with CMR - who did more at UGA than Fox will ever do.
I am a nobody with a degree from UGA. I will never be a big time booster so this place is my only outlet. I want a new freaking coach in hoops. I want a FINAL FOUR! Making the tournament is NOT ENOUGH. We should do that 4/5 years and we can't even do it once every 3.
