I have strong opinions about filling out a roster via NIL, almost on a Dumbo level... except for when it comes to WR's...

I think a disproportionately large amount of mercs will be at WR. To an extent, it's the most individual sport within the sport (outside of kicker, but that's different). I have different expectations when it comes to that position. I don't expect the same level of commitment to the team as I do with the rest of the players (not that I'm okay with it, I just accept that reality)... and I think it has a lot to do with what seems to be essential traits for success at the position (whether we like to admit it or not... flash, arrogance and to an extent, histrionics). I could go on and on, but you get what I'm saying. I thing we should probably just get used to the idea that during any given year, we'll probably take in 4 WR's from HS, lose 4 from the portal and have 2 leave who either graduated or went pro.
