1) We keep Fox
2) We are even worse next year with no JJ to bail us out. This assumes Maten stays (no guarantee). If he leaves we are MUCH worse
3) What little interest there is in the program erodes even more
4) We finally fire Fox after next year
5) Full rebounding mode as next years class is really bad, even by our standards.
I always hate calling for someone to be fired. There are a lot of people hurt and families that must move, etc....but that is the business these people have chosen. I have not been screaming all year (or the last 3 or 4) for him to go. I really wanted it to work but it has not, is not, and most likely will not.
No rational person can name a reason, other than solid graduation rate, why he should continue to be our coach. The last 2 years have been talented teams (by historical UGA standards) and we have 1 NIT win to show for it. SEC record getting worse every year. Not good enough. Not saying anything that has not been said, I just wanted to say it.
