I know I am no favorite of Dasher's, but I want to say one thing about

this thread view issue in his favor. This site now has a boat load of staff members - Radi, Trent, Jake, Dave Mahon, Drew Butler, Smallwood, McDonald (did I miss anyone?), and Antonio is the only one who has stuck his neck out repeatedly trying to explain the rationale for the migration away from thread view (which, incidentally, I also favor - thread view, that is). He has not hidden or ran for cover. He has been right here answering post after post - most of which are a regurgitation of the same complaints/questions/pleas already made. I have seen very, very few such posts from any of the other guys - and none from some of them. Maybe Dasher's position calls for him alone to deal with such matters and leave the other guys to writing stories, chasing leads, etc. But, it sure seems like he's been made the site's martyr. So, as much as the decision at hand sucks, Dasher is to be commended for being front and center when it matters most.

Everyone has a role. Dash is the face of the message boards as he reads them and deals with those issues more than the others. The other guys are a bit new and haven't been in the same conversations with the Rivals higher-ups that Dash and I have. I have been preparing the site to flip while Dash answers questions. He got the short end of that stick I suppose but I guess that comes with the territory. I may have to give him a raise.
