Ala-LSU was a FG contest...

However

Since I'm sitting at my desk typing this and I'm not on the field playing in the arena anymore, I can type this with full confidence..

I absolutely can't stand our offensive playbook, style, and philosophy of the pro style conservative run first predictable game planning. And it's MR playbook.

No matter who is calling the plays, those plays come from MR's book. It will be the playbook until he leaves...and that's is where the suffering of watching a boring non-creative ability to mix it up during a game to keep a defense always guessing and confused.

I gargled cement last night and had a better time than watching the ineptitude of our offense.

Get skill guys in space, get them the ball, create mismatches, throw first to set up the run...and be unpredictable...it's easy and simple...and we do the opposite.

Crowd the LOS, pack everyone in tight, guys are covered up, and then run it 2 plays for 3yds and then either try to throw it 5yds from a wider set, or "fool" em and run it out of that set...or stay in a tight set and try to throw it...

Easy to defend....

Our offensive strategy is to do the same thing over and over again until the defense becomes so bored that they fall asleep and make a mistake.

Did someone really just compare this game to AL vs LSU 9-6 game?
No read the damn post...nothing but FG's and basically no offense on either side makes it a defensive game..I love when people like you have no idea what you read and then make a comment that isn't relevant...

No, you said you love a defensive battle, this was more a battle of completely inept offenses. This was a field goal contest as you said, AL vs LSU was a defensive battle. Where as in that game you didn't know where two good offenses could find yards, in this game you wondered if these offenses were capable of getting any yards. You are right, the playbook is a problem but even mores, we don't coach anyone up...the best they will ever be generally is as good as they were coming in plus what they seemingly learn on their own in game situations. LSU and Bama though, had offenses that were very good, just even better defenses. Who knows if either team is overall good defensively...time will tell that, but everyone knew both these offenses basically suck.
