Happy Birthday to these three Great Americans.........

1946 James C Adamson, Lt Col USA/astronaut—he flew on two missions (Columbia, Atlantis), and completed 263 orbits and 334 hours in space—He has logged over 3,000 hours in over 30 different types of helicopters and airplanes, born in Warsaw, New York.

1949 Bonnie J Dunbar, Sunnyside Wash, PhD/astronaut— A veteran of five space flights , (Challenger, Columbia(2), Atlantis, Endeavour), Dunbar has logged more than 1,208 hours (50 days) in space, born Sunnyside Washington.

1949 James S Voss, Cordova Alabama, Major USA/astronaut--flew in space five times (Atlantis (2), Discovery (2), Endeavour) on board the Space Shuttle and International Space Station (logged 163 days) . He and Susan Helms conducted an 8-hour and 56 minute spacewalk, the longest to date.
