I seem to recall Beck having the exact same regression in high school…..

Maybe there is a pattern here

Named mister Football and won the 7a state championship as a junior. Threw for 3,546 yards and had 30 touchdowns

Then, as a senior, his team flopped. Threw for only 1,843 and had 20 touchdowns. Think his regression back then was blamed on “talent around him” being diluted.

Any of this sound familiar?? Just a thought
