I have a Downy woodpecker pecking on the house, doing damage. I have beat on the wall so much it doesn’t bother him so he has to go. I hate it but I feed them a buffet and have two bird baths, don’t ask for anything in return except don’t peck on the house. So I got the pellet gun out, single pump .22 cal. 1000 fps. It will turn him into a feather cloud. He seemed to sense bad buckra in the air and flew off.
