It seems clear that regardless of what Richt says, he wants Ramsey to win the starting QB battle.
The fact he hasn't done so, and doesn't appear close to doing so, is getting worrisome.

What I saw in the spring is Bauta doing the small things at a higher level while Ramsey has the arm Richt covets. I don't see Ramsey going through progressions like Bauta does. Some QBs like Peyton Manning can do it without being obvious. That isn't the case with Ramsey though, that is clear.

If we could put Bauta's aptitude in Ramsey's body we'd be in business.
Since we're bound by reality though, we likely will have to settle, polish vs gifted.
Who do you think wins the job ?

Bauta, from my sources. You won't know until they actually play. I don't have a problem playing two QBs to see who can shine under pressure.

I'm good with rotating up to SC, but I want THE GUY large and in charge for The Old Ball Sack's boys.

Work them all into the PT pie. Nobody steps up = nobody gets all the practice reps nor all the in game PT. The biggest reason to share the snaps is that they ALL need to be ready to go, whether due to pecking order, injury or game situation. Somebody could still separate themselves from the others at any point during the season. When that happens and it is obvious to everyone (on the staff) involved, they can then anoint "the man."
