I see a man more focused and quicker to make corrections than ever before. The program is more professional from top to bottom, program support is finally all in and the coaching staff is as good as any in CFB in my opinion.
We're now drawing recruits from west of Georgia like never before and We're back to top Dawg in our great state.
If Richt can keep the staff together and barring unforeseen circumstances, I think we're about to take that next step and joining the uppermost echelon in the sport.

GO DAWGS.

That's all fine and good. We have been saying this same shat for years. How bout we win something so we don't have to hope and speculate anymore. We are not even in the national conversation by most. How bout we beat a wounded Alabama team first and not follow it with a senseless lose before we start declaring ourselves on the verge of excellence?

I can see him enjoying retirement and Sat afternoon on the fifty guest of Coach Pruitt. Anything short of that and Pruitt is gone to the highest bidder as HC. Maybe back to Bama as Saban gives every indication he is not enjoying life coaching football anymore.

If he goes we'll get a top man to replace him. All successful programs lose good assistants. I haven't heard anything from any reputable source to suggest Saban is nearing retirement though.

Always the optimist aren't you. ''A wounded Alabama team'', You're already preparing to dismiss the accomplishment if we beat Bama. I can't imagine why anybody would look for obtuse reasons to be unhappy.

I'm not unhappy. Unhappy is coming to the conclusion that Georgia and Richt have turned the corner by beating an unranked team, then getting dog stomped by a proven program. I promise I won't tell you I told you so.

Let's best someone ranked before we start crowing...ok?

Actually it (reports of Saban being burned out and ready to leave) reported on national outlets just two weeks ago in the aftermath of the non authorized book that was just released. He was ready to take the Texas job because it was far less of a grind in so many ways. You have to admit, his teams has never been so disjointed and awful at the fundamental elements of the game.

The Disney is strong in this one.

''non-authorized book'', news outlets reported on the book, that's not like something vetted. The fact it claimed Saban was ready to go to Texas is all I need to know. He never considered taking that job.
