I think the kid from Virginia others raved about is an athlete posing as a WR. Nixon on the other hand is a skilled, instinctive WR who is also a great speed athlete.
While We might be stalled with some important instate players, We seem to have Nixon's attention and interest now.
First off He gets explosive separation off the line and His blazing speed allows Him to increase the distance from the DB as He moves downfield. He also runs crisp routes and beats defenders in traffic.
He is 5'11'' or so, but that doesn't matter when You can consistently put as much distance on DBs as Tre can.
Landing Him would more than balance Robertson losing if DR decides to go elsewhere.
