I'm a UGA fan fwiw.. and I seriously doubt that the seniors on this team will lose their last game in Sanford to Southern..
Losing is a very real possibility.
Having faced The Barn last week should help though.
Most important GSU has virtually no passing game. We can use everybody except CBs to counter the run. They are lightening quick through the LOS, so we can't play the matador defense where we're chasing.
The keys will be gap integrity while having our safeties running cut off the ball carrier. Of course tackling well is always a top concern. If we have guys in front of and facing ball carriers, tackling correctly is much easier than reaching out and grabbing a leg from the side.

If it's close at the end, I just pray Richt won't have another mega brain fart and pooch kick it back to GSU.
The key factor is depth. Our depth, over 4 quarters, and especially on the OL and DL, will mean the difference. UGA won't throw for more than 100 yards.

That is a fair assessment. It is clear he is better at salvaging than winning big games from a positive position. The ability to rise to greatness is rare.
That is his critical flaw.
Do you think any UGA team should ever not score a td against Central Florida? Do you think any UGA team should ever go 9 quarters without scoring a td? Do you think any UGA team should ever be without a serviceable QB? Do you think any D1 football team should ever come out of a time out and get a delay penalty? Do you think any UGA team should be as bad at tackling as we are?
Answers: We did, we did, we are, we do on a regular basis, but we are.
I pull for CMR every time he coaches UGA in a game and will until he is no longer coach. My opinion is he cannot get teams ready to play week in and week out nor can he make the right decisions during games.
No REAL fan of our program should be happy with losing a game.

Nor do I think any UGA team should EVER pooch kick to Ga. Tech with 18 seconds left in regulation, enabling them to take over on their own 43 and add a 21-yd. QB rush to set up a game-tying field goal that sent the game into OT and an eventual loss for UGA.
That should have been enough to get him fired. You don't pay anyone 4 mill a year and not fire them for making mistakes like that over and over again. It's ridiculous.

What's wered is a lot of Vegas web sites are picking sothern. One site has it at 14. My gues is it will go down tho just odd to me. Also 14 point favs and lower are 0-50 when it comes to the spread.
Ok....so let me get this straight and use one game as an example.
Ohio State is favored by 13.5 over Mich. State. You're saying that if I take Ohio State, I'd be going against an 0-50 record?
It is this line that seems the most out of whack to me, actually. I like Mich State getting 13.5.....a lot.
