If You can't see what He has meant to the school and program, it's Your shortcoming.

Believe it or not, I will too. It was time for him to go. Since 2008, Georgia hasn't been the same. I always liked him.

Georgia is a sleeping giant, with the right coach it could be something special!

I always like him too. We all did. I hope he stays in Athens and continues to be involved with UGA is as big of a capacity as possible.

I agree We've lost too many tough games in recent years.
On the other hand if Richt wins his last game as Our HC, that'll make 5 out of the last six seasons He will have won at least 10 games. How many major programs can match that ?
I thought Our best course would have been to bring in a top OC and let things play out at least another season. If this is truly about Kirby having signaled His interest, it will as least make better sense than letting go of a great man and still very good coach without a firm plan.

I think Miami would be smart to give Him a call.

He's not going to Miami unless I've completely misread his intentions and past statements. His family is fully settled in Athens and they love it here. Nobody of any significance wants the Miami job because it's a dump. Awful facilities, no money, a bandwagon fanbase, and a bunch of lunatics running things.

Once the black stripes are returned to the helmets things will turn aroubd

The only hint he has EVER given he might consider another HC position was when asked about the Miami job some weeks back. Being an empty nest parent might make a difference too.

They have been searching for a coach since the FL game.

Come on dude, nobody knew he was being fired then. Of course research was done, but that is normal when things heat up.
You absolutely didn't know he was being fired then, the decision hadn't been made.

You might want to go back and read old post. I told you that according to my source that the decision had been made, but you didn't believe me. I understand why, but you will have to admit It was spot on. I heard it right after the Florida game.
